The NQA is mandated to perform statutory duties and functions including but not limited to the accreditation of training providers, evaluation of qualifications and managing the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
The NQA is a public enterprise that is responsible for quality assurance in higher education and training in Namibia. Some of the NQA’s statutory functions include accrediting training providers, evaluation of qualifications and managing the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) of Namibia. The NQA’s overall responsibility is to ensure that education and training in Namibia meets the required quality standards.
