Job Description

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Labour Relations/Human Resources essential
  • At least 5–8 years’ experience in a Human Resources department
  • Proven working experience in dealing with industrial relations/union negotiations/interactions
  • Proven working knowledge of Employment Equity/Affirmative Action plans and Skills Development submissions
  • Previous experience in working on a payroll system and related statutory returns
  • Working knowledge of conducting training needs analysis
  • Experience in drafting annual training plans and follow-up
  • Ability to communicate company policies effectively to employees
  • Experience with onboarding and conducting induction for new employees
  • Ability to construct professional correspondence and presentations
  • Computer Literacy: MS Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
