Deloitte & Touche has been operating in Namibia since 1959, serving a diverse range of clients across the country. As a member firm of the international accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Deloitte Namibia leverages its global connections to provide services in auditing, risk advisory, accounting and finance advisory, taxation, and consultancy.The firm’s local office in Windhoek is part of the Maerua Mall complex, which it has occupied since 2010.3

The firm is dedicated to the development of its Namibian staff. It has a financial assistance program that provides bursaries to Namibian students, particularly those from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, to help them obtain the necessary qualifications to become Chartered Accountants. In the last 15 years, this program has invested N$11.3 million. The firm also has a policy to primarily employ Namibians and only seeks non-Namibian employees when it is unable to find suitable local candidates. Over 86% of its staff members are Namibian.

Deloitte Namibia’s leadership includes several partners and directors, with Melanie Harrison appointed as the first female Country Leader in 2023.She previously held positions with Deloitte and De Beers Marine Namibia, and holds certifications including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
