Nampharm, a leading wholesaler and distributor of healthcare products, medical supplies and consumer goods in Namibia, has a vacancy for a: Junior Human Resources Administrator

 

Overview:

To provide essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day Human Resources operations and ensure all documentation, systems and basic employee interactions are managed efficiently and correctly.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Human Resources or Administration
  • Knowledge of HR processes and basic labour law
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and general computer literacy)
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments
  • Leadership skills to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams towards common goals
  • Applicants must be in good physical and mental condition

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update digital and physical employee records
  • Provide administrative support in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, preparing recruitment documentation, and opening employee files
  • Schedule interviews and manage communication with applicants
  • Manage the HR department calendar, schedule meetings, take minutes, and coordinate HR-related activities, events, and training
  • Collect, capture, track, and provide accurate payroll data for review
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to employee benefits
  • Organise training sessions, prepare training materials, attend sessions, and maintain training records
  • Monitor and follow up on training plans, job descriptions, and update relevant trackers, flagging outstanding documentation
