Vacancy: Fund Accountant

JOIN THE LIBERTY LIFE TEAM IN WINDHOEK

We’re looking for a Fund Accountant to ensure accurate accounting, reporting, and reconciliation of our investment portfolios and policyholder funds — while supporting regulatory compliance and strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cash & asset reconciliations, variance resolution, and investment-mandate compliance
  • Statutory submissions (incl. NAMFISA), audit support & financial controls
  • Engagement with asset managers, custodians, auditors, and internal teams
  • Input for investment committee reports & fund-performance insights
  • System optimisation, automation support & data-integrity checks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/Investment Management/Economics
  • 3–5 years’ fund or financial accounting experience
  • Knowledge of NAMFISA regulations (advantageous)
  • Strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency & attention to detail
  • High integrity, accountability, and a proactive, client-focused mindset
