Minimum Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. / Security certifications are an added advantage.

Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of IT security concepts, including network security, application security, cloud security, and security operations.
- Strong understanding of data loss prevention, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, threat hunting, application security testing, and SIEM management.
- Strong understanding of incident response, compliance frameworks, security standards, security testing tools, and security automation.
- Understanding of security tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Understanding of WAN/LAN/Cloud infrastructures and technologies.
- Understanding of Microsoft Server Platforms.
- Understanding of Risk Management processes.
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Duties & Responsibilities
The principal accountabilities of this position are to:
- Monitor real-time alerts, correlate and analyse activities on the network, servers, endpoints, databases, applications, websites, and other systems using a combination of technology solutions and tools to identify anomalous activity.
- Respond to and manage security incidents or breaches following the cybersecurity incident response plan and related procedures, aiming to reduce potential impact and quickly restore normal business operations. Ensure that thorough documentation is kept for each incident.
- Perform routine vulnerability assessments to identify, document, and address vulnerabilities within the Bank’s systems and infrastructure. Provide recommendations for solutions and mitigation strategies.
- Implement, manage, and maintain defensive countermeasures and security management solutions to enable a safe computing environment.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and resolve issues on IT security equipment, escalating to second or third-level support as necessary to maintain established service levels and minimize downtime.
- Deliver information security support throughout system implementations, ensuring appropriate integration of security features.
- Conduct research and development to stay informed about current security trends, vulnerabilities, and industry news, and effectively communicate relevant updates.
