Job Description
To manage and grow relationships with major retail customers across Namibia. This is a high-pressure, fast-paced role suited for someone who can work under stress, think clearly, and deliver results in a demanding retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key accounts and build strong professional relationships with buyers in major retail groups
- Handle listings, negotiations, deals, and promotions
- Work long hours when required to ensure deals are loaded and executed correctly
- Ensure all deals and agreements are clearly communicated to the sales team
- Work hand-in-hand with sales representatives to ensure orders are placed and deals are successfully executed in-store
- Identify problems quickly and provide practical solutions
- Monitor deal performance and address any issues with urgency and accuracy
Requirements
- Proven experience in key account management, sales, or retail FMCG, at least 5 years
- Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with buyers
- Strong work ethic, discipline, and accountability
- Willingness to work long and flexible hours when required
