Job Description
MEDICAL IMAGING is a leading healthcare provider committed to excellence in patient care, innovation, and diagnostic accuracy. We are seeking skilled and qualified staff to join our dynamic radiology team, the following position will based in Ongwediva.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and professional standards
- Oversee clinical quality assurance, protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and mentor radiographers, sonographers, and support staff
- Ensure optimal use, maintenance, and safety of imaging equipment
- Manage staff rosters, performance appraisals, training, and competency assessments
- Collaborate with radiologists, referring clinicians, and senior management
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets, stock, and resources
- Lead audits, incident management, and risk mitigation processes
- Drive a culture of patient safety, service excellence, and teamwork
Requirements
- Degree Radiography
- Current registration with the relevant professional council
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience, with hands-on experience in CT, MRI, and Mammography
- Proven management or supervisory experience in a clinical/radiology/health care environment
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, quality assurance, and clinical governance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
