Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To mix and prepare all juices, by products and yoghurt according to recipes, production plan ISO standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). .
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure pre-production care is completed before production runs commence
- Collect, mix, and record juices, by-products, and yoghurt in accordance with the production plan and ISO standards
- Coordinate and administer the smooth running of the mixing and blending process
- Apply FIFO and LIFO principles on a daily basis
- Take samples to the laboratory for chemical and microbiological testing
- Ensure sampling is conducted according to the approved sampling plan or laboratory requests
- Maintain accurate CIP and COP records
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene at all times
- Provide general assistance to the Team Leader: Processing when required
- Ensure the working area is kept clean, orderly, and hygienic
- Clean, inspect, and disinfect equipment after use
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Grade 12 certificate
- One year experience in a food manufacturing environment
