Role Overview
As part of Dealer Operations, the goal is to achieve “zero” guest comebacks through the Toyota Customer Service Workshop Management Program. The role focuses on accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles to deliver high-quality service and eliminate comebacks using a Fix-It-Right approach.
Key Performance Areas
Accurately and promptly diagnose vehicle faults using a First-Time-Right (FIR) approach.
Determine whether faults are FIR, warranty-related, or driver-related.
Complete pre-diagnostic questionnaires in accordance with required standards and procedures.
Carry out vehicle repairs in line with diagnostic findings, manufacturer guidelines, and dealership standards.
Perform quality control checks and sign off FIR repair orders upon completion.
Minimize comebacks by ensuring high repair quality to contribute to customer satisfaction.
Provide guidance and assistance to fellow technicians on repair procedures.
Undertake ad-hoc duties as required.
Experience & Qualifications
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
Certification: Fully qualified Technician with proven diagnostic expertise.
Technical Skills: Experience with engine, gearbox, and differential overhauls.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience within the motor industry.
Preferred: Previous Toyota franchise experience is considered an advantage.
License: Must hold a valid driver’s licence.
