Role Overview

Indongo Toyota is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wheel Alignment Technician with a strong commitment to accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role involves inspecting suspension and steering components, performing precise wheel alignments, and ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate is dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship with a “first-time-right” approach while maintaining professional standards and efficient workshop operations.

Key Performance Areas

  • Conduct thorough inspections of all relevant mechanical components prior to performing wheel alignment.

  • Perform accurate wheel alignment checks and make necessary adjustments to manufacturer specifications.

  • Repair, replace, balance, and fit vehicle tyres in accordance with safety and quality standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of wheel alignment and fitment bays.

  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks and additional duties as required from time to time.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.

  • Certification: Certification in wheel alignment is considered advantageous.

  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ hands-on experience operating wheel alignment equipment and machinery.

  • Technical Skills: Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills related to suspension, steering, and alignment systems.

  • License: Valid Code B driver’s licence (compulsory).
