Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To manage and coordinate order processing and customer care for Spar Members, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, effective issue resolution, and consistent relationship management while adhering to company procedures and maintaining operational efficiency

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Receive customer orders from representatives and process them accurately according to CIC procedures, verifying details and confirming order status to Spar stores within 48 hours via email.
  • Efficiently handle and process telephonic and email customer orders, ensuring all orders are accurately recorded and acknowledged.
  • Proactively follow up on discrepancies related to orders or stock levels with representatives, correcting errors to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Address and resolve customer queries and issues promptly, providing clear and accurate information to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks and provide support to team members during absences or peak periods to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Update and maintain the Deal Sheet Tracker, ensuring entries are accurate and current in line with company procedures for tracking deals and promotions.
  • Develop and maintain professional, positive relationships with Spar Members by providing consistent support and understanding their needs.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position involving data capturing and typing.
  • Computer literate with excellent keyboard operating skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
  • Professional telephone etiquette.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Namibian Citizenship (certified ID or passport copy required).
  • Willingness to work overtime.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Assertive with strong logical thinking ability.
