Job Description

To manage the processes, teams and resources that improve, grow and retain clients / customers through the successful implementation and management of client / customers insurance portfolios, contributing to operational effectiveness, client / customer satisfaction, reduced risk, profitability and compliance to relevant policies and regulatory requirements.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Grow sales with Key Accounts.
  • Ensure product master data is in line with company policies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with principals and Key Accounts.
  • Ensure principals’ standards and budgets are met.
  • Ensure the sales team is informed and equipped to carry out principal strategy.
  • Cascade changes to executions, promotions, and brand activities to relevant parties.
  • Ensure monthly commercial plans are drawn up and presented to leadership.
  • Ensure feedback sessions are held with principals and communicated to relevant parties.
  • Maintain timeous reporting as per set operational standards and principal requirements.
  • Assist with various sales and operational functions.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • 3-year Degree / Higher Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
  • 5 years’ experience in FMCG.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programmes (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle pressure and conflict situations.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of Sales Maths.
  • Reliable own transport, as extensive travelling is required.
  • Valid passport and police clearance certificate.
  • Valid Driver’s License (Code 08).
  • Namibian Citizenship.
  • Computer literate with excellent keyboard operating skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
  • Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
