Job Title: Key Accounts Manager – Retail

Role Purpose:
To ensure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territory by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing, promoting, merchandising, trading and selling of food, liquor and allied food service products, traded, stocked and maintained by the Deep Catch Group and its associated distribution companies
  • Promptly report any aspect of any operation that could negatively impact on the safe working environment, natural environment and/or the public
  • Build strong customer relations with buyers and principal to ensure excellent service levels are maintained.
  • Retail Master maintenance by Retailer and pricing control.
  • The employee shall travel nationally and trade, promote and merchandise the company products; service and call on existing and potentially new customers
  • Record weekly store assessments
  • Endeavour to keep returns at a minimal
  • Ensure that all correct paperwork is completed, and processes are followed according to company and principal requirements
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement
  • Instore and strategic deal management to increase product volumes & sales.
  • Reach sales targets and grow customer base
  • Liaise with Operational Buying ensuring principal of stock levels maintained.
  • Daily report analysis (stock, expiry, sales revenue, claims etc.)
