Rosh Pinah Zinc, a leading mining company, is seeking a skilled Health, Safety and Training Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our operations.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Proactively identify and assess HSEC risks and develop and maintain robust site-based management standards and audit tools to manage HSEC risk.
• Implement Fatal Risk Control Standards with the aim to guarantee people’s safety.
• Lead and proactively manage permits, licenses, obligations, and reporting to ensure HSEC regulatory compliance with relevant legislation and legal obligations.
• Lead the HSEC aspects of contractor management.
• Set process standards and implement the HSEC portion of employee and contractor onboarding processes, including medicals, site induction, and access control, ensuring the transfer of required knowledge to fulfil roles safely with clear expectations related to HSEC risk management.

Ideally, You Will Have

• Relevant Honours Degree in Health, Safety, Environment and Training.
• Postgraduate qualification in Leadership or Business Administration.
• Minimum 10 years’ previous experience with safety, environmental, health and community management in the mining and/or construction industries.
• Ideally 5 years in a senior management capacity.
• Effective management and strong leadership skills.
