Job Description

Unik Construction Engineering has grown from a small building contractor into a competitive large corporation with 20 years’ steadfast development, Established in 1996 in Botswana, the company has established branches in Lesotho, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa in 2007, 2009 and 2013 respectively. Unik Construction Engineering Namibia (Pty) Ltd, registered in 2013, located at 26 Rensburger Street, Lafrenz, Windhoek, specializes in larger scale projects ranging from road and bridge construction, water and sewer services, residential, commercial, industrial buildings and infrastructure development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all surveying and setting-out activities in accordance with project specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy of measurements and alignment of construction works.
  • Manage and oversee all survey-related data and reporting.
  • Coordinate survey activities with site teams and engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with Employer requirements and project standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Land Surveying or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years’ cumulative experience in surveying.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience on similar civil projects.
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, preferably Namibia.
  • Proficiency in surveying equipment and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (mandatory).
