Job Description

Provides advice on a specific range of products to a specific allocated market and are individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Convert tele-sales leads and support customer retention objectives.
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Supervisor as part of the learning and development programme.
  • Assist clients in achieving financial goals by providing appropriate advice and solutions.
  • Provide services to individual, corporate, and institutional clients.
  • Deliver advice in line with the company’s customer value proposition and compliance framework.
  • Prioritise and implement internal customer retention strategies.
  • Build and manage long-term client relationships.
  • Conduct client prospecting initiatives within allocated markets.
  • Develop, track, and review business plans to achieve individual performance targets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Namibian citizenship.
  • Grade 12 with commercial or business-related subjects.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an insurance intermediary or within the financial services sector (advantageous).
  • Clear criminal and credit record.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to sales.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
