Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of tyre balancing and puncture repairs
  • Product knowledge and defect identification
  • Correctly lift motor vehicle
  • Utilise correct tools for the job
  • Correctly fit tyres to rim
  • Report any defects to the Branch Manager e.g. studs, washers, and wheel nuts
  • Inflate tyres according to manufacturer’s specifications
  • Apply safety standards
  • Torque wheel nuts to manufactures specifications
  • Receive customers in a friendly manner and with a smile

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • High level of accuracy
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as a team
  • Ability to work with clients
  • Ability to work under pressure and have great attention to detail
  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a tyre technician OR have the ability to be a fast and trainable learner
  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Valid Driver’s License.
