Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on exploration activities including but not limited to drilling, mapping, prospecting, geochemical and geophysical surveys according to the work plan and schedule.
- Supervise field and warehouse teams to ensure work is completed safely, effectively, and in line with production and quality targets.
- Collect, capture and interpret quality data through accurate documentation, reporting, and 2D/3D interpretation for supervisors.
- Ensure HSE compliance by identifying risks and hazards, following safety procedures.
- Support company objectives and workplace standards by following policies and procedures, assisting with required tasks, and demonstrating behaviour aligned with company values.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid driver’s licence.
- BSc (Honours) in Geology or equivalent
- Computer literate
- 2 months minimum Internship at exploration or mining company
- MS Office, 2D GIS mapping
