Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• The role is responsible for administering servers, cloud, and virtual and physical infrastructure and perform enterprise data backups as well as support the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Information Systems or Computer Science or related.
• VMware 5.5 or later.
• HP ProLiant ML/DL/SL Servers.
• MTC Vehicle Usage Procedure requires that all employees have a valid driver’s license.
• Total work experience of 5 years is required to work in this position.
• At least 5 years experience working in an IT environment with a focus on infrastructure installation, monitoring, enterprise backup and administration.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in performance tuning.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience is required.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as relevant ISO standards, NIST and CIS benchmarks.
• Knowledge of system and server security, enterprise backup and recovery.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, systems operations, and systems performance analysis skills.
• Sound knowledge of digital and analog embedded computer hardware.
• Knowledge of computing infrastructures.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex software and hardware problems with attention to detail.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues.
