Job Summary
LifeLine/ChildLine Namibia is seeking 4 apprentices in Windhoek through our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme in collaboration with Heritage Management Institute. The following courses are available within the apprenticeship programme, with entry level through the certificate levels only: ID-0201 National Certificate in Counselling Services (Community counselling) – Level 3, ID-2512 National Certificate in Counselling Services (Community counselling) – Level 4, ID-0202 National Vocational Diploma in Counselling Services (Counselling Supervision) – Level 6. NB: The certificate qualifications are to be completed first to gain entry into the respective diploma programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Theoretical and practical counselling experience
- Case management, referrals & documentation
- Professional development and supervised learning
- An NTA accredited qualification (Certificate & Diploma-duration 3 years)
Requirements
- Anyone that is 18 years old and above & does not have a qualification in counselling
- Minimum of 15 points (Grade 10 old curriculum/ Grade 11 new curriculum/ Grade 12 old curriculum)
- Compassionate, professional and committed individuals
- Applicants able to maintain confidentiality and professional ethics
- Updated CV and required documentation
