Job Summary

The Transworld Group provides professional services (Treasury, Legal, HR, Payroll and IT) to eleven legal entities within the group, based in Windhoek, Walvisbay, Katima Mulilo, Aussekehr, Upington and Johannesburg. TWG is looking for a proactive, highly motivated and security-oriented IT Systems Administrator & Support Engineer to provide technical support while maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and security systems. The role combines end-user support, systems administration, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunication, networking, backup and disaster recovery and hardware maintenance across multiple branches. The ideal candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting skills, a strong customer-service mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support while maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and security systems.
• Combine end-user support, systems administration, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunication, networking, backup and disaster recovery and hardware maintenance across multiple branches.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in IT technical support and systems administration.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to branch offices when required.
• Networking and firewall fundamentals certification will be advantageous.
