Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure sample representativity, traceability, and quality to ensure strict quality control compliance
  • Support the metallurgical laboratory by collecting and submitting routine and specialized field samples ensuring correct sample preparation and detailed metallurgical test work programs
  • Perform comprehensive sampling, evaluation and validation of critical process instruments and analyzers
  • Perform online and offline analysis of process stream downstream analyzers, including: cyanide analyzers (critical control point), pM meters, dissolved oxygen (DO) analyzers

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in similar role
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Strong leaching & stripping expertise is required
  • Understanding of MTO Feeds filter is an added advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
