Job Summary

The National Youth Service (NYS) invites recruits who are currently not employed, studying, training, or engaged in the Youth Security Service (YSS) to submit their CVs, copies of IDs, and Civic/National Service Certificates for consideration for the paid special deployment opportunity across Namibia. The period of the projects will vary from twelve (12) to fourteen (14) months, depending on the nature of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit CVs, copies of IDs and National Service Training/Civic Certificates
  • Report to Youth Centres on specified dates

Requirements

  • Recruit must originate from and/or currently reside in the respective towns and must have access to free accommodation in the town where they will be deployed
  • Be available for the full project period
  • Submission of documents does not guarantee selection. Recruit will be considered based on the requirements of the respective projects and the operational needs
  • Selection shall be based in interviews, physical fitness and certificate of conduct
