Job Summary

This role is suited to a technically capable Junior Surveyor with hands-on experience in setting-out, topographic surveys, and instrument operation, able to work with moderate supervision across construction and mining sites while building toward more senior responsibilities.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
• Relevant diploma, certificate, degree studies, or vocational training in land surveying, engineering surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, construction, or a related field will be advantageous.
• Technical training or academic exposure in the use of survey instruments, setting out methods, and basic survey calculations will be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous, depending on operational requirements.
• Additional training in total stations, GPS/GNSS systems, levelling instruments, CAD interpretation, roadworks survey, or earthworks survey will be advantageous.
