The incumbent of the position will report to the audit senior and will be responsible for audits in line with the laid-out auditing standards, firm policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
– Assist with the planning and substantive testing on audits.
– Keep the senior and all relevant stakeholders up to date with all issues and proposed action plans.
– Ensure that audit workpapers comply with International Audit Standards (IAS).
– Perform any related task as and when required.

Requirements
– Be in possession of a B. Comm Accounting Degree (CA Stream) or equivalent (perusing their studies towards ACCA) is a minimum requirement.
– Attempted CTA or equivalent, having obtained CTA or equivalent will be a definite advantage.
– The use of CaseWare for audit purposes will be an added advantage.
