Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Law, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ HR experience, preferably in the construction, civil engineering, or project environment.
• Previous HR experience with a Chinese engineering or construction company will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Namibian Labour Law and practical experience in disciplinary procedures, termination, grievances, and labour dispute resolution.
• Competent in payroll calculation, including wages, overtime, allowances, leave deductions, PAYE, and Social Security.
• Experience in recruitment, employment contracts, attendance, leave, employee records, performance, and employee relations.
• Fluent in English and Oshiwambo; strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word and able to prepare HR and payroll reports independently.
• Experience dealing with local labour authorities and HR matters in the Oshikati area will be an advantage.
