Unik Construction Engineering has grown from a small building contractor into a competitive large corporation with 20 years’ steadfast development. Established in 1996 in Botswana, the company has established branches in Lesotho, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa in 2007, 2009 and 2013 respectively. Unik Construction Engineering Namibia (Pty) Ltd, registered in 2013, located at 26 Rensburger Street, Lafrenz, Windhoek, specializes in larger scale projects ranging from road and bridge construction, water and sewer services, residential, commercial, industrial buildings and infrastructure development. We are urgently looking for a Procurement Officer to assist the company with procurement related duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Equipment Officer and Project Manager with the procurement of equipment, tools, parts, machinery, and other items required at the project site.
- Perform administrative functions and provide support in procurement and supply chain activities.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations while on site.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Procurement or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ procurement or supply chain experience in construction, mining, hardware, logistics, supply chain, oil and energy, or a related industry.
- Valid Code B driver’s licence.
- Namibian citizenship.
- Effective communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work effectively in a project site environment.
