Key Responsibilities

  • Support economic growth and development through the promotion of tourism, attraction of local and international investments, and development of SME initiatives
  • Coordinate and implement youth development programmes
  • Promote and strengthen partnerships with local businesses, investors and other stakeholders
  • Manage the allocation, occupation, leasing and vacation of industrial units, business stalls and informal markets

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Business Administration on NQF 7 in Economics, Commerce or Marketing
  • 3 years’ experience in the promotion and development of the SME sector or related
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of society
  • Sound presentation, analytic thinking and problem resolution skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Computer literacy
  • A valid driver’s license code B

Salary and Benefits

Salary Scale: N$ 154 132.00 – N$ 160 649.00 per annum
Transport Allowance: N$ 10512.00 per annum
Housing Allowance: 20 or 40% of basic salary with or without housing bond
Medical Aid: 90% Council Contribution
Pension: 21.7% Council Contribution
Other Benefits: 13th Cheque
