Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently assist the Drill Rig Operator with all drilling operations.
• Perform setup, alignment, and mobilization of drilling equipment.
• Handle and manage drill core, samples, and equipment (rods, casing).
• Conduct regular housekeeping and preventive maintenance on site and equipment.
• Maintain a safe work area and ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Drill Rig Assistant or in a related mining/exploration field.
• Valid driver’s license (Code B)
• First Aid and related safety certifications (e.g., Working at Heights, Fire Fighting).
• Ability to work extended shifts and in remote locations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Valid Code of Conduct certificate.
