Key Responsibilities
- Monitor environmental legal compliance and permit conditions.
- Implement Environmental Management Plan requirements.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring programmes.
- Manage and lead environmental incident investigation and reporting.
- Oversee waste, water, biodiversity, dust and pollution controls.
- Coordinate rehabilitation planning.
- Prepare environmental reports.
- Liaise with regulators and stakeholders
Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in environmental management/science or related discipline.
- Five (5) to Eight (8) years relevant experience
- Proven record on environmental auditing and reporting
- Knowledge of environment rehabilitation in a mining space
