About Company
Our story is that of a ‘Healthier Namibia’ where everyone has access to quality health services and information. We contribute to Namibia’s long-term development plans including Vision 2030; the National Development Plans and Harambee Prosperity Plan as pillars for social progress.
Since inception IntraHealth Namibia has implemented various projects with great success. This includes assisting the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MHSS) in applying the Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) tool of the World Health Organization (WHO) to make evidence-based decisions regarding staffing norms, equitable deployment and distribution of staff, task shifting, and forecasting. Furthermore, IntraHealth Namibia has led the redesign, development, and rollout of an improved electronic patient management system (ePMS Quantum) which is used to manage clients on antiretroviral therapy. To date, IntraHealth Namibia continues to support the collection, analysis, and use of data for advocacy, policy, planning, and decision-making, and developing capacity for national and local decision-makers to use data for better health outcomes.
