The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat is the principal executive institution of SADC, responsible for strategic planning, co-ordination, and management of regional programmes. It handles the implementation of decisions made by SADC policy institutions such as the Summit, Troikas, and Council of Ministers to foster socioeconomic cooperation, regional integration, and sustainable development across member states.
