Job Overview

Rosh Pinah Zinc, a leading mining company, is seeking skilled 2X Auto Electricians on (24 Months FTC) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in our operations.

Your key areas of responsibility

  • Underground and surface maintenance, repair on starters, alternators and wiring and rewiring vehicles and earthmoving equipment, scoops remotes.
  • Ensuring optimal vehicles and earth moving equipment performance
  • Breakdown maintenance & repairs
  • Trouble / Fault finding & rectification shooting
  • Assisting with adhoc duties as requested by supervisor or Head of Department
  • Adherence to all safety and health practices and promotion of good housekeeping on an ongoing basis

Successful candidates may be required to work shifts and be on standby on a rotational basis, in accordance with operational requirements.

Ideally, you will have

  • A recognized Trade Diploma as an Auto Qualified Electrician.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with applicable technical and maintenance within mining or heavy industry environment.
  • Valid Code B Driver’s License
  • Valid Police Clearance Certificate (not older than 6 months)
