Job purpose::
Build Bank BIC business, manage branch employees, maintain a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction, compliance adherence and effective branch operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively pursue and build a business pipeline identifying new clients and business opportunities.
- Pro-actively market the Bank’s offering through electronic media or written documents.
- Negotiate and conclude the deals and collect relevant documentation.
- Conduct relevant client visits.
- Orchestrate any interaction between branch staff and clients.
- Provide Financial/Credit analyses with relevant financial information and relevant section of credit application containing needs and risk analyses.
- Review and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration.
- Share knowledge with Head Office on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs.
- Handle own Portfolio of Clients.
- Improve revenues, contain expenses, and grow the business.
- Ensure Branch is compliant and obeying all policies, regulations, and applicable laws.
- Understanding of foreign exchange markets and exchange control rulings in the country.
- Set clear objectives for the branch and for each employee and monitor progress and track results.

Key Requirements::
- A degree in a commercial field (such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics).
- A minimum of five (5) years of banking experience, with at least two (2) years in a management role.
- Experienced banker well versed in all aspects of business and corporate banking.
- Excellent knowledge about financial and banking products and legislation.
- Namibian citizen with a valid driver’s license and own transport.
- Must be willing to work every second Saturday.
