Job Description
A 12-month contract role responsible for safely operating rigid haul trucks at Rössing Mine to transport materials over designated routes.
Key Responsibilities
- To safely operate the rigid haul truck to transport material over designated haul routes, supporting production targets through efficient loading, hauling, and dumping while maintaining strict safety and equipment care standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
- At least 2 Years experience in open pit mine
- Operator Competency Certificate (original) for CAT 777 RHT Truck
- Namibian ID
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Code of Conduct (not older than 6 months)
