Role Overview:
The role reports into the FirstRand Namibia Ltd and First National Bank of Namibia Ltd Company Secretary. To ensure that statutory obligations are met and for maintaining a high standard of corporate governance and compliance within the business.
Are you someone who can:
- Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards.
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility
- Ensure that the business complies with all relevant and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide timeous, professional advice and solutions in respect of Company Secretarial matters.
- Provide effective and professional Company Secretarial duties.
- Comply to statutory obligations to mitigate risk.
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Minimum qualification: A relevant Law Degree
- Minimum 3 – 5 years in a similar environment of which 1-2 years ideally at a junior specialist level.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
