Namibia Medical Care (NMC) is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to safeguard our regulatory integrity and strengthen our compliance framework.
This is a high-impact role where your expertise will protect our licence, uphold our reputation, and ensure responsible stewardship of members’ healthcare funds.
What You’ll Do:
- Enhance and oversee NMC’s Compliance Framework
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitoring reviews
- Liaise with NAMFISA and manage regulatory submissions
- Oversee AML/CFT compliance processes
- Provide governance reporting and advisory support to the Board
- Guide management on regulatory interpretation and policy alignment
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Law, Risk, Finance or related field
- 5–8 years’ compliance experience (minimum 3 years in a regulated environment)
- Strong understanding of Namibian regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical and advisory capability
- High ethical standards and sound professional judgment
