Job Description

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Drive content creation processes
  • Ensures the editorial department complies with media law and ethical guidelines
  • Manage a diverse group of journalists
  • Oversee day-to-day running of content creation departments

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree [NQA Level 7] in Media Study from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Six (6) years relevant working experience of which two (2) years should have been at a supervisory level
  • Proven knowledge of Namibia’s media industry

COMPETENCY/SKILLS

  • Media law and ethics
  • Knowledge of journalistic ethics
  • Leadership skills
  • Performance management
  • High level of administrative skills
  • Stratège planning and execution
