CREO Engineering Solutions is a Namibian engineering consultancy providing multidisciplinary engineering, project management and technical consulting services to the mining, industrial and infrastructure sectors.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Draughtsperson to produce high-quality engineering drawings and technical documentation for a major EPCM project. The successful candidate will support the engineering team by preparing accurate design drawings, incorporating design revisions, developing as-built documentation and ensuring compliance with project drafting standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Prepare general arrangement, layout, detail, isometric and fabrication drawings using industry-standard CAD and 3D modelling software.
• Apply project drafting standards, layering conventions and drawing control procedures while incorporating engineering design changes.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) from drawings and models to support procurement activities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve design interfaces and drawing clashes.
• Prepare and update as-built drawings from site mark-ups and construction feedback, ensuring accurate project records.

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma, Certificate or equivalent qualification in Draughting, Engineering Design or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ draughting experience within EPCM, mining, industrial or engineering consulting projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with 3D modelling software such as Plant 3D, Revit, MicroStation or equivalent.
• Sound understanding of engineering drawing standards, material take-offs and document control procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
