Business Unit: Transmission

Report to: Head: PLC & Radios

Peromnes Job Grade: 10

Key Responsibilities

  • Install PLC systems in new and existing substations
  • Replace PLC systems in existing substations
  • Install mobile and fixed radios
  • Replace mobile and fixed radios
  • Routine maintenance on all PLC systems in the NamPower system
  • Routine maintenance on all existing mobile and fixed radios in the NamPower system
  • Routine maintenance of aircraft warning lights on all NamPower radio towers

Requirements

  • A Diploma/certificate in Electronic Engineering (NQF level 6)
  • Valid Code B driving license
  • A minimum of one (1) years relevant experience
