Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily workshop and fitment area activities.
- Ensure smooth workflow between sales staff, fitment technicians, and customers.
- Monitor daily picking slips.
- Allocate work to fitment technicians and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
- Ensure all work is completed according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with handling customer complaints and operational issues professionally.
- Assist customers with tyre, wheel, battery, and accessory enquiries.
- Provide recommendations on suitable tyre brands, sizes, and products.
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work.
- Ensure vehicles are handled carefully and professionally.
- Ensure proper torque settings and fitment procedures are followed.
- Monitor workshop cleanliness and organisation.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tyres, rims, and accessories.
Requirements
- Familiarity with workshop equipment and automotive tools.
- Strong supervisory abilities.
- Ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional and customer-focused attitude.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Experience with POS systems or workshop management systems advantageous.
- Grade 12 with a minimum of 23 points./ National Senior Certificate.
- Valid driver’s licence.
