Job Description
The Head: Marketing, Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Engagement is responsible for leading the strategic branding, marketing, and communication efforts of the Harold Pupkewitz Graduate School of Business to drive innovation and sustainability in leadership education.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing the overall marketing strategy and the brand profile of the School.
- Grow the revenue goals and third-stream funding strategy of the School.
- Inform the marketing approaches of academic and executive education programmes and short courses at HPGSB.
- Monitor the HPGSB brand and its performance across different media platforms and advise on brand positioning.
- Establish and grow the Alumni portfolio.
- Managing the international and local stakeholder engagement relations.
- Developing marketing strategies, strategic communications, and public relations initiatives.
- Overseeing the creative message / graphic development and deployment to achieve objectives that support the overall image and brand building of the School.
Requirements
- An Honours Degree [NQF Level 8] in Marketing, Communication or equivalent.
- A Master’s Degree [NQF Level 9] in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or equivalent would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant technical experience in marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement, of which 3-years should have been in management, specialist or senior supervisory capacity.
- Proven solid experience in the development of marketing and branding strategies, as well as external communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Proven strong experience in the delivery of robust branding and marketing campaigns.
- Special training or requirement: Excellent organisational and administration skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills and Digital Media and Brand Management Certificates.
- Police Clearance Certificate (Certificate of Conduct) not older than six (6) months.
- All foreign qualifications must be validated by the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA).
