Job Description
Lewcor Group is seeking qualified heavy equipment Diesel Mechanics and Assistant Diesel Mechanics for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy mining and earthmoving equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations on their project at Rössing Mine.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair heavy mining equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
Requirements
- Namibian ID
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Code of Conduct (not older than 6 months)
- Recognised Trade Qualification (Level 3) (Diesel Mechanic)
- Extensive experience with: CAT / VOLVO / BELL / HITACHI / JOHN DEERE heavy earthmoving equipment and METSO Crushers
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
