ICT Technician – Roads Authority

Job Description

The Roads Authority was established in terms of Section 2 of the Roads Authority Act, Act no. 17 of 1999. The Authority fully became operational on the 01 April 2000. The Roads Authority is responsible for the management of national road network with a view of achieving a safe and efficient road sector.

Primary Purpose
To provide tier 1 ICT support to end users from service desk by serving as the first point of contact to Roads Authority users seeking technical assistance. By performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions and determine the best solution or escalate more complex problems.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
•Diploma in Information Technology System Administration and Networking and related Certification (A+, N+, MCSA)
•Drivers’s License as an added advantage
