Job Description

To provide an effective auditing service, advice and support to increase operational compliance. Reviews policies and procedures relating to the area of responsibility to ensure compliance with specific rules and policies.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Construct a concise, accurate and consistent audit report and present findings to relevant stakeholders to rectify non-compliance issues.
  • Deliver work activities in a professional manner consistent with company values.
  • Ensure stakeholder network is notified of audits timeously, as per OEM policy.
  • Prepare audit working papers to ensure that all information required for the audit has been obtained and that shortcomings are reported.
  • Execute own work according to set operating procedures and service level agreements.
  • Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.
  • Plan and organise own tasks to ensure performance targets are met and standard operating procedures are adhered to (daily to 3 months).
  • Own and live up to the company values.
  • Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximise financial performance.
  • Efficiently handle and process telephonic and email customer orders by following laid-down procedures, ensuring all orders are accurately recorded and acknowledged.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Honours Degree (NQF Level 8).
  • Up to 8 years of experience in a similar environment with at least 5 years’ operational leadership or specialist experience.
  • Proficient audit methodology knowledge and/or skill.
  • Proficient reporting and interpretation knowledge and/or skill.
  • Proficient internal audit knowledge and/or skill.
  • Namibian Citizenship (certified ID or passport copy required).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Should be assertive and a logical thinker.
