LIVESTOCK AND LIVESTOCK PRODUCTS BOARD OF NAMIBIA (previously Meat Board of Namibia) is to promote a conducive environment for sustainable livestock production, market growth, and diversification for livestock, meat, and livestock products. The Livestock and Livestock Products Board of Namibia (LLPBN) is looking for a dynamic and experienced:
Position: Invoicing Officer
Location: Windhoek
Employment Type: Permanent
Principal Accountabilities:
- Follow up to ensure monthly returns are submitted timeously.
- Invoice levy income accurately and on time, then print and distribute invoices.
- Maintain updated debtor information for statements and account queries.
- Ensure exporters submit monthly returns by the set deadlines.
- Prepare and issue accurate levy invoices, and send them to the agent.
- Keep debtor information current for statements and enquiries.
- Invoice all import permits issued and ensure permit lists are complete and correctly ordered.
- Reconcile border quantities with permits, verify documents, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Calculate levies, issue and send invoices, and ensure timely and accurate levy receipt.
- Ensure auctioneers declare and pay levies on time.
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 (20 points in 5 subjects, and a minimum E-Symbol in English).
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Business Administration will serve as an added advantage.
- 1–2 years’ relevant experience in the agricultural/livestock industry.
