Job Summary

Unik Construction Engineering Namibia (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Maintenance Foreman to join their team in Windhoek.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of earthmoving plant, road-building equipment and light and heavy vehicles.
• Supervise, allocate work to and train mechanics, artisans, operators’ assistants and general workers.
• Keep maintenance records, service schedules, job cards and equipment history up to date.
• Diagnose faults and manage breakdown repairs quickly to reduce downtime, including at remote sites.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate or equivalent).
• Trade Test Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Plant Mechanic or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ maintenance experience on heavy construction plant, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
