Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics and Geography from Grade 8 to AS Level.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred lessons.
  • Prepare learners for internal and external examinations.
  • Develop and assess tests, assignments and examination papers.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide appropriate academic support.
  • Maintain accurate academic and assessment records.
  • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication and independent learning.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school activities and extracurricular programmes.

Requirements

  • Recognised teaching qualification and relevant Bachelor’s degree.
  • Appropriate specialisation in Mathematics and Geography.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ teaching experience, preferably at Senior Secondary level.
  • Experience teaching Grade 8 – AS Level.
  • Experience with Cambridge International IGCSE / AS Levels will be an advantage.
  • Strong Mathematics and Geography subject knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and learner development.
