Vacancy Opening: X3 Miner (Internal and External)
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising of crew in allocated mining section.
- Conduct everyday inspections on the water reticulation system to ensure continuous supply of water to the operation.
- Adhering to safety standards of operations at all times.
- Inspect and test all mining equipment to ensure that it is fully functional before use.
- Manage equipment as needed, including directing the erection of scaffolding when required.
- Utilize all equipment entrusted according to STP’s.
- Ensure correct material is mined by operating monitor gun on a daily basis.
- Ensure that infrastructure is maintained when required.
Education & Experience
- Grade 12
- Valid Namibian Underground Blasting Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 3 years mining experience as a qualified Miner
- Experience in Underground mining
